This is the Bengali dubbed version of the Indian Telugu movie Shyam Singha Roy. The film shows the story of love between Shyam and Jyothi. The lead roles are played by Nani, Sai Pallavi, and Krithi Shetty.
Story Summary:
Basu quits his job because he wants to make a short film. His dream is to become a successful film director. But since he doesn’t have enough money, he can’t hire a professional actress. After a long search, he finally selects a girl named Preeti. At first, Preeti doesn’t want to work in the film, but after Basu’s request, she agrees.
The short film turns out great. Impressed by his work, a film producer offers him a budget to make a full-length movie. Meanwhile, Basu and Preeti grow close to each other. But one day, while exercising, Basu accidentally calls her Rosie instead of Preeti. Preeti becomes upset, thinking he has another girl named Rosie in his life, and breaks up with him.
Later, Basu’s movie story is found to be similar to a story written by Shyam Singha Roy, and he is accused of plagiarism. To clear his name, Basu starts searching about Shyam Singha. He learns that Rosie was Shyam Singha’s wife and discovers the truth about their past and Shyam’s tragic death.
