The movie Sahoshika was released in theaters on August 10, 2021. Later, it was released on the Deepto OTT platform. The main roles were played by Tanjin Tisha, Manoj Pramanik, and Ashish Khandakar.
Story Summary:
The movie starts with a girl named Faria Sultana. She files a rape case against her boyfriend. His name is Mehedi Mahbub. He is the son of a rich businessman. Because of this, Faria faces many problems in getting justice.
When Faria was in college, Mehedi used to hang around the college. He also stood for hours outside her house. After some time, Faria started talking to him.
Slowly, they fell in love. One day, Mehedi took Faria to an empty house. Faria knew no one was there, but she trusted him and agreed to spend time with him. But then Mehedi forced himself on her. Even though Faria said no, he did not stop.
Faria felt very hurt and shocked. She could not accept such behavior from someone she loved. So, she went to court for justice. But Mehedi’s lawyer tried to prove that everything happened with Faria’s consent.
Now the question is—will Faria get justice? Or will money win in the end?
