On June 7, 2025, the web film Neel Podmo was released on the i-Screen OTT platform for Eid-ul-Azha. The movie tells the story of a woman’s life as a worker in difficult conditions. It shows how some women are forced into this life and the struggles they face. The main roles are played by Runa Khan, Rokeya Prachy, and Rashed Mamunur Rahman Apu.
Story Summary:
At the start of the movie, a woman tricks and steals a little girl named Neela from a village and takes her to the city. Neela grows up in a brothel. When she becomes a young woman, she is given to customers. This life becomes normal for her, but it brings her no happiness—only pain. Neela starts looking for a way to escape.
One day, a garment factory supervisor visits the brothel and meets Neela. They like each other. He tells her to come to him if she ever gets out.
A few days later, Neela runs away and goes to the man. She starts working at the garment factory. But soon, the supervisor forces her into physical abuse. Neela has no choice and accepts the suffering.
Later, the landlord, manager, and others also start making bad offers to her. Neela decides to stand up again and fight for her life.
