Story Summary:
The movie starts at a tea shop. Villagers are listening to the weather news because it has been raining heavily for several days. The rain has flooded the fields, roads, and houses.
During the monsoon, everything is covered with water. Two boys, Palash and Shafiqul, are catching fish in the water. They are best friends. They call each other dostojee, which means close friend. They go to school, play, and return home together. They also like to skip school and watch bioscope shows. They often steal money from home for this and get scolded or beaten.
One day, Palash and Shafiqul are flying a kite. By mistake, Palash breaks the kite. Shafiqul gets angry and pushes him. After that, the two friends stop talking and playing together.
A few days later, one of the boys becomes very sick. The doctor says his condition is serious. When the other friend hears this, he forgets the fight and goes to meet him. They meet under a tree and draw a heart between their names. They say people draw hearts when they love their friends.
