Story Summary:
The movie starts with a football match. The match is between the women’s teams of Bangladesh and Japan. People in Bangladesh are watching it on TV. The Bangladeshi team is playing very badly.
Bangladesh loses the match by 9-0. They play three more matches. They lose all of them and come back home. All the players are from poor families. The captain’s father is very sick and stays in bed. Her mother works in a garment factory and struggles to support the family. She tells her daughter to stop playing football and work in the factory.
Another good player is named Maloti. Her grandfather and sister-in-law force her to quit football and get married.
After these problems, the girls decide to leave the team. Then an old football coach comes to them. He starts telling them a story.
The story is about two boys, Durjoy and Munna. They became famous football players. This is where the main story of the movie begins.
